Qtel offers many ways to sign up for service.
We belong to numerous networks that provide
storefronts conveniently located in neighborhoods
where their customers live. The stores also
serve as convenient payment locations. Some
of the networks we partner with are ACE
Cash Express, Western
Union, IPP
(In Person Payments), CheckFreePay,
MoneyGram,
Tio
Networks, and others. The combination of
networks allows our customers to sign up and
make payments at over 30,000 stores across the
nation and Canada.
Qtel offers alternative residential telephone
service. Depending on your area, there is a
one-time start up fee to connect your phone
that covers the cost of the first month’s service
and transaction fee. Twenty-four days later,
the following month’s bill is due to renew the
service. A monthly bill will follow thereafter
for the service.

Once your initial payment has been received,
it takes one to seven business days (in most
cases) for your service to be activated. However,
the length of time to be connected depends on
your area and if there is prior service that
must be fully disconnected.
Qtel's call center operates from 8:30 a.m. to
5:30 p.m. Central Standard Time. When you call
us, you will get a live agent to help you with
your needs unless all incoming lines are busy.
If all incoming lines are busy, you will be
forwarded to our automated system. After hours,
we utilize an automated system to assist with
frequently asked questions.
Yes! The information you need to provide to
sign up for service is as simple as your name,
the complete address of where the phone will
be, a contact number, and the reference number
for your initial payment.
We make it easy for our customers to make monthly
payments. You can make a payment over the phone
with a debit or credit card, at an authorized
payment center by IPP
or CheckFreePay,
at any ACE
Cash Express location, by Western
Union, Tio
Networks, or at any MoneyGram
location.
You can also make your payment by
mail (money orders only) and send to P.O. BOX
